New Faculty Checklist

All new faculty coming to the University of Houston will receive individualized checklists to complete the required onboarding tasks. The table below is a general overview of departments for faculty onboarding. Your individualized checklist will provide you with more information and contacts.

Step Item Instructions For Questions, Contact:
1 Complete onboarding tasks in Taleo Log into Taleo ( jobs.uh.edu) to complete your onboarding tasks. This will ensure you get a UH email address and employee ID and that you are set up in our payroll system. Please note that the I-9 task will reflect an incomplete status. That’s ok! You will complete your I-9 by visiting Human Resources booth on Day 1 of orientation or when you are on campus. All other tasks should show completed in Taleo. Faculty Affairs
